@brentr 9:38
my big hug goes out to @jepler for fuzzing work. Ive used fuzzing for a web apps bug, but its really fascinating to watch you hunt bugs and resolve them. @dan for USB-HID work. @tannewt for the newsletter, its lookin great!

@Dan Halbert for tackling the thankless USB HID in ASF. @kattni, @jerryn, @CGrover, @siddacious, @Andon, and others I'm sure I missed, for helping out on discord and forums; seeing multiple people state how they appreciate the community is awesome!!! So...group hug!
ladyada 17:46
thanks to the git contributors, y'all are doing some great work and finding sneaky bugs! jepler, sommersoft, arturo182 and others!
cgrover 18:03
Group hugs for amazingly prolific work on 3.0 and an extra special one to @tannewt for a quick review of some string car code. It was extremely valuable and helped me to move forward in my quest to learn Python.
Status Update 14:14
tannewt 14:40
* Second newsletter going out today. https://github.com/adafruit/circuitpython-weekly-newsletter
* Metro M4 Rev F and Feather M4 Express board definitions added.
* SVD GDB script updated to handle MicroChip svd files.
* More audio work. API will change slightly to support stereo output and multiple output objects.
AudioOut for DAC output and I2SOut for I2S output.

I put a little GIF of a CPX running the morse code hid keyboard code in #showandtell yesterday. Going to try to finish that up this week, itll be a arduino and CP dual-guide, along with an adafruitio guide idea Im playing with.
Also - Im looking for people to take a look at the code examples in MetroX-CircuitPython. example or two (https://github.com/adafruit/METROX-CircuitPython/issues/3).
I can toss a guide PDF or link to match the tutorial guide, if you dont have learn author access but want to use the wiring from there too

Finished the StringCar CPy code -- new motor control and string length schemes. Adapted the string car code to a model train controller that will become a learning guide. Starting the Corrosion Monitor conversion from Arduino to CPy. Made excellent progress with Feather M0-RFM69 and ILI9341 FeatherWing display drivers. Snowman (holiday lights) parts arrive from DigiKey today. Will probably develop a learning guide around that, as well.
dhalbert 20:11
* working on usb hid code. got it working late last week.
* adding multimedia key support, restructuring the API a little bit.
deshipu 21:00
I have another batch of the µGames ordered from the fab
I'm also working on a much simplified and cheaper version that could be useful as a conference badge (with the flash chip and with an OLED display)
jerryn 22:34
* made stmpe driver progress. can paint on the screen! working so people can play with it
* dht22 doesn't work on 3.0.0 on samd21.
* lora radio driver doesn't work on 3.0.0 either. SPI connection
kattni 25:14
* circuitpython essentials guide is basically done
* github comment showed up in channel.
* finished pages are already mirrored into individual board guides
* next: project + guide
* improve code of conduct for discord and will be on github
* helping noe and pedro out on their project
noe 27:17
* project is trampolantern, trampoline with neopixel perimeter that responds to bounces
* https://twitter.com/mikelovesrobots/status/976655938361876480
* adabot building brick compatible
sommersoft 29:09
* light polishing on REPL fix, but is pretty much done. serial_connected just needs one last test (battery swap) before merge. Working on 3.x purple pixel. Put FRAM on the back burner to focus more on 3.x issues that are in my skill set/ability; will scoop future projects from there.
