**2x LDO Voltage Regulators?**
Yup! The first one is for the general operation of the board and the ESP32-S2, RAM and Flash.
The second LDO is for you to use to connect external 3V3 modules, sensors and peripherals, and it has programmable EN control tied to GPIO21 + it’s connected to the deep sleep capabilities of the S2, so if the S2 goes into deep sleep, the 2nd LDO is automatically shut down for you!
**Pre Release Hardware?**
The board design is final and it works great. But right now, the only way to develop on it is with an unfinished pre-beta IDF and there is no CircuitPython, MicroPython or Arduino support. So I can’t really call this board final until I at-least have a feature complete IDF to test it against :)
**Why is the board $26?**
Well, these are a short run of pre-production boards and buying components in small quantities is THE most expensive way to buy them. That will change when I go into production, and I expect the final production boards to be around $20.
